What does the free trial look like?
You purchase an OBD dongle for CZK 2,380 and we top up your account with 2 weeks of free credit. Plug the dongle into the vehicle in 5 seconds. After 2 weeks you decide — either switch to a covert installation or keep the dongle and don't top up. No commitment.
What if I already have another provider?
Most contracts on the market are open-ended with a short notice period — we'll help you through the switch. All our covertly installed units are LTE (4G) — older providers often still use 2G, which operators are gradually shutting down. (The OBD Starter dongle is 2G — ideal for a quick trial; for long-term use we recommend upgrading to a covert installation.)
How does the credit model work?
You buy credit in advance — monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. The larger the package, the bigger the discount (up to 17%). Credit runs out? Service pauses, data stays. Top up? Everything runs again. No invoices, no reminders, no debt.
Can you handle trucks and large fleets?
Yes. The Pro plan covers your entire fleet — from cars to trucks and vans. One system, one portal. Construction machinery with CAN data (excavators, graders) is coming in the Fleet plan — currently in development.
Won't employees push back?
Routio is not a "spy tool". The system protects drivers too — it proves they arrived on time, didn't exceed the speed limit, and weren't at the scene of an accident. A key fob switches the trip to private mode and nothing is recorded. Fully GDPR-compliant.
